Power Adaptors

Sometimes you might run into a situation where having power adaptors for your vehicle is a godsend. For instance, you might have a small air compressor power inverter which could air up a flat tire until you get to a gas station for repair. Some of these air compressors are AC adaptors that can be plugged into a cigarette lighter socket. Other things that you might plug in there which also use an AC adaptor include you cell phone. If you run down your battery that adaptor is very helpful.

There are other instances where you might need power adaptors. For instance, if you want to play your CDs in your car but don’t have a player installed, you can use your own portable CD player. A portable CD player with AC adaptor is an inexpensive option. You could even get an iPod car adaptor as well so you always have access to your hundreds of songs saved on it.

For the most part, if you want to convert DC power to AC power or vice versa, you would need power inverters. A power inverter allows you to modify the electrical current into something you can use. Now, if you are savvy around electronics, you could build a power inverter or you can just buy one of the many DC/AC power inverters on the market.

When you think of car power inverters, of course, there is the air compressor, cell phone and CD or iPod products that you could use in your vehicle, but did you know that these are great for RVs and other similar vehicles? You could plug in a small refrigerator, a small television and other important things necessary for a long trip. Heck, even your laptop is an option.

With the vector power inverter, you could buy different sizes, depending on the electrical devices you plan to plug into one.

As you can see, power adaptors are very convenient for practically any type of use. They are especially helpful for your vehicles. With power adaptors, you can bring some of the conveniences of home along with you on most any trip that you take. You almost have to wonder why car manufacturers don’t just add in power adaptors as a standard feature!
